Jacque & Kyle’s Wedding Day – Renaissance Hotel

Jacque and Kyle’s Wedding Day was our first time to shoot at the Renaissance Hotel in Carmel…….and we fell in love with the decor of the place!  It’s full of such bright, fun colors and modern furniture.

We have a new blog program that allows me to post photos so much quicker than before, so you may start seeing a lot more blog photos for each posting.  :-)  I want to apologize in advance!  I am also trying to get back to showing more of the “moments” because that is what we strive to capture with each and every wedding.

The Dress and The Details

How much fun are these shoes?!?!?!?  I love them!!

Jacque and Kyle’s First Meeting

So happy!!!  Her eyes just lit up when she saw him face-to-face.

Brandon and I both loved these next 2 shots.  She looks so 50’s Hollywood!

Jacque’s niece……she was so adorable that I couldn’t stop shooting her all day!

The Family Bible

Kyle’s Grandmother coming down the aisle to start off the ceremony.

Jacque and Dad about to walk down the aisle

During the ceremony, Jacque and Kyle hammered this keepsake box closed.  Inside of it is a bottle of wine and letters that the minister told them to open and enjoy on their 10th anniversary.

And of course “the kiss!”

Stephanie & Rob’s Wedding Day – Milwaukee, WI

We traveled to Milwaukee for Stephanie and Rob’s small family wedding.  The hotel where the ceremony and dinner took place was one of the coolest venues that we’ve been to lately…..The Iron Horse Hotel.

The flowers were tropical……..a great hint of the warmer weather that I’m so looking forward to in the coming weeks!  And yes…..those ARE oranges in the flowers!!  What a cute idea!!

Stephanie pinning Rob’s flower

Look at those beautiful blue eyes sparkle!!

Stephanie’s shoes were so adorable!!  They reminded me of something from the 20s.

So in the lobby area of the hotel is this giant American flag.  We loved it and tried to work it into some of the photos.  Brandon thought this looks like Stephanie and Rob are running for a political office……..but I love LOVE it!  :-)

Down in the basement, we found this old doorway that was great for some rustic looking photos.

Rob sharing a moment with his grandmother.

Flowers for Rob’s mom who was not able to be at the ceremony.

I wanted to include both of the following shots of the cake because one shows of the cake really well, and the other is taken with just the available candle light and I like the glow that it casts onto the cake.

Stephanie’s nephew having fun with the globe.

About the walk down the aisle with Dad.

I just want to say thank you to Stephanie and Rob for allowing us to capture the special moments of your day.  Congratulations and Best Wishes!!!

Pam & Dustin’s E-Session

Pam and Dustin are getting married in Fort Wayne in May, but live here in the Indy area, so they wanted to do an engagement session here.  We all bundled up and met downtown to start out the afternoon.

It was pretty muddy, so Dustin picked Pam up and carried away from the mud.  Such a sweetie!  (and it turned into a great photo!!)

Abby & Brandon’s Wedding Day – Noblesville & Indianapolis

I was so happy when I saw there was snow in the forecast for Abby and Brandon’s Wedding Day.  Although I hate cold weather, there is just something about snow that makes me feel happy and giddy…..like a kid again.  Although I would’ve loved to have a little more snow on the ground, I’ll take what I can get!

We had such a wonderful day with Abby and Brandon that this will be my longest blog post to date.  I had such a hard time cutting out the photos because there were so many great ones…..and so many that tell the story of their day.  There are close to 60 photos in this blog post…..and I cut out that many!!  I’ll just let the photo tell about their day……..
